Where should housing money be spent in Jefferson City? Speak up Thursday


PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Jefferson will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 18, 2012 at 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 320 E. McCarty Street, to receive public input about the expenditure of 2013 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)Funds through U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). 

General categories proposed for funding are:  Owner-Occupied Assistance Programs, Old Town Neighborhood Revitalization, Old Town Public Improvements.  An estimated $227,982.00 in HUD grant funds will be received for 2013. Following the hearing, additional comments will be received until October 18, 2012.  A draft plan will be available for review and comment until October 26, 2012.  A final plan will be available for review and comment until November 2, 2012.
