The Jefferson City Branch of the NAACP will host its 51st Annual Freedom Fund Dinner and Silent Auction at Reinhardt Circle (5007 Buffalo Rd, JCMO) on Saturday, November 1, 2014. National Bar Association President Pamela Meanes will serve as our keynote speaker.  We invite you to join us as we celebrate our theme, “Equal Protection Under the Law.”  The Freedom Fund Dinner is our primary fund-raiser to support branch activities and operation expenses. No funds are spent on salaries.
Silent auction starts at 6 PM and program at 7 PM.
SPECIAL DISCOUNT
We would appreciate your support as an attendee, sponsor, and/or benefactor. Please renew your membership today as a life member for $75 annually (for 10 years to become a life member) and we will buy your dinner!

REGULAR MEETINGS HELD
We meet the third Monday of each month at the Lincoln University Library in room 116 from 6-7PM.  We often have guest speakers on topics from the death penalty to local policy concerns and your always welcome. On Youtube, we have partnered with former president WT Edmondson to bring hardhitting analysis on complex issues and our blog www.jcnaacp.blogspot.com is home to the news you can use.
We need your help to make America a better place.  Vote on November 4th.  Oppose Jim Crow voting laws our current legislature seeks to impose.  Support everyone’s right to vote.  Stand for peace in #Ferguson. Please renew your membership, donate to the NAACP and join us in our work and at the Freedom Fund Dinner on November 1, 2014.
Yours sincerely,
Nimrod Chapel, Jr.
