Healthy Missouri would like
to extend an invitation to each of you for a significant opportunity to make
your voice heard on the proposal to strengthen Medicaid in Missouri.
There will be a
Strengthening Medicaid Lobby Day at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson
City on Tuesday, April 16. This event will provide a great opportunity for you
to directly communicate with your elected officials and let them know where you
stand on Medicaid expansion. At 2:00 p.m. that day, an informational program
will be held on the steps of the Capitol featuring comments from leaders on
this issue.
Charter busses and transit
vans are welcome and special bus parking and shuttle services will be available
for your groups. Special accommodations will be made for those with
disabilities or needing special assistance.
