AFL-CIO Labor Commission on Racial and Economic Justice Mission: The Commission recognize that as a labor movement we share a common desire to uplift all working people and we do this by organizing, educating and empowering our members through collective bargaining and political action. We also recognize that when we are divided, we are weaker and that to protect the rights of all working people we must reach out into the community and connect with others on their issues. We must be a part of a broader movement for social, political and economic justice.
Please come out and let your voices and concerns be heard on how organized labor can be more inclusive internally and more supportive of racial and economic justice issues in the broader community of Missouri.

Co-sponsors: Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, A. Philip Randolph Institute, Coalition of Labor Union Women, Pride at Work, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement.
